$ZUKO
A hatchling dragon with sapphire scales and a smile that could end kingdoms or keep one.
Meet Zuko
Zuko is still working on his scary dragon face, but the smile keeps winning. He folds his wings up neat before he sits, like he's tucking himself in for a chat, and those big blue eyes watch everything with the kind of wonder usually reserved for Sunday mornings.
Nobody has ever been afraid of him, and he seems quietly proud of that.
- Still working on scary. The smile keeps getting in the way.
- Hi. Yes, the horns are soft too.
- Practices his fierce roar in the mirror, forgets, smiles instead.
Anatomy of a hatchling
Zuko tilts that head, horns and all, and somehow that's the whole pitch. Here it is, one sticker at a time.
-
Two cream horns
Ridged, curled back over the brow. Exactly two, always swept away from the face.
-
Big blue eyes
One white sparkle in each. Big blue eyes, bigger heart.
-
A soft smile
No teeth, no fangs. A cream snout and a content little curve.
-
Folded wings
Blue scales on top, cream underneath, tucked in at the shoulders. Soft scales, soft heart.
